A Moms Favorite Spot For Wedding Photos

My name is Amanda,

I am married, and very much in love. I have two daughters, 15 & 11 years old. I live in Shrewsbury in Shropshire with a very large family scattered all around the world from the West Midlands and Shropshire to Spain and South Africa! This makes me a very lucky person, with many people and places to photograph! The most important thing I can tell you about me is that I get extremely excited about taking your photographs. You will see from my portfolios that I have a passion for photography. I try to capture love and relationships in all their forms and I aim to give my clients something creative, memorable and visually stunning to always look back on.

While the bulk of my work is weddings and I work from Shropshire and across the West Midlands, I am also available for weddings, occasions and portrait photography further a field. I will come to your home or a venue of your choice to take fun, vibrant and memorable photographs of you and your family.

On your wedding day, I can take images from both the bride’s and groom’s morning preparations through to the first dance. My photography has been described as emotional, sensitive and romantic and my coverage of your wedding will be a mix of photojournalism, relaxed, intimate portraiture and, of course, a fashion shoot. My favorite shoot happened when a photographer for wedding pictures in Tahoe caught a bear in he background of a shoot.  There is no hourly rate or time limit to my work. Being involved in your special and intimate day is an honor.

I like to build up a rapport before the day and indeed, where possible, keep in touch afterwards. I have been around a few wedding photographers in my time and can honestly say at times there was a lack of personality and connection. I believe your photographer should be part of your wedding day but in an informal, easygoing way and most importantly in the background. This is the key to taking the most natural images and telling the complete story of your magical day.
